Iron Ore
Stones are a type of Currency. Stones are used for purchasing Sand Sculptures and Topiary as well as spinning the Lucky Wheel. Stones take two forms--as mergeable objects and as useable currency in your Bank, called Stone Capacity.
Stones as objects can be obtained by tapping Stone Miners, harvesting Rocks, tapping Stone Treasures, or letting Seabed Pyramid spawn.
Leftover Stones
If the capacity in your Bank is exceeded, the excess amount will be spawned in camp as the object Leftover Stones with the sign "x[number of coins exceeded by]" (eg. "x987") above it.
Stones cannot be sold, only tapped or deleted.
